Rev. Pansy Graham  introduced today's speaker:

Dr. Steve Liebowitz on "Wisdom at Work - Successful Strategies & Learning Experiences"

"Dr. Steve Liebowitz began his career with the Peace Corps and has 37 years experience designing and implementing success strategies and learning experiences for individuals, groups and organizations. He is a business coach and managing partner of "Wisdom at Work", a full service training and development company established in 1997. His book, The New Professionalism: Connecting Science and Spirit, is based on research he conducted for his Doctorate Degree in Education and is available on Amazon.Com. This book is also a best seller in all of his workshops."

Dr. Liebowitz explained to us several methods on how to improve your business.

Working in the business vs. working on the business. If you work in the business you may want to take a step back in order to refresh yourself with better ideas and to get a better sense.

Being out of balance will get you sick and stressed and cause you to fall. One must think of yourself and uor business like a chair in which all four legs must be even and on the floor. These four legs are: 1)Mental state 2) Emotional 3) Physical and 4) Spiritual.

Being full of joy and compassion towards others will cause others to refer you business.

It is also important not to make cuts or eliminate the aspects of your business that help you increase the service levels that your customers have known you for.
