How to do a Make-Up On-Line via Rotary eClub One?
Perfect attendance is now possible for every Rotarian with computer access. Rotary’s eClub One is a full-service online charted Rotary Club. Meetings operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. What an easy way to make up for a meeting that you have missed! During the last Rotary year, Rotary eClub One welcomed more than 120,000 visitors from 161 countries. Of these, about 800 per week participated in one of eClub One’s meeting programs and applied for make-up credit.

Our Speaker Today:
Mario Cristobal, Head Football Coach, FIU
The qualities that define Mario Cristobal are what will ultimately drive FIU football to continued success: passion, leadership, relentlessness, focus, integrity, commitment, enthusiasm, intelligence, fearlessness, vision, confidence, competitiveness and ambition-all of which have earned Cristobal a reputation as one of the country's best recruiters and the opportunity to lead FIU.
Named the second head football coach in FIU history on December 19, 2006, Cristobal has implemented his philosophy of hard work and dedication, which has already begun paying quick dividends both on the field and in the classroom.
In 2010 Cristobal led FIU to its first-ever winning season, posting a 7-6 record, including the program's first bowl appearance, a 34-32 victory over Toledo in the 2010 Little Caesars Pizza Bowl. For his efforts in 2010, Cristobal was named the 2010 Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year. Following the tremendous success on the field, during the 2011 NFL Draft, Anthony Gaitor became the first Panther recruited by Cristobal to get drafted into the NFL. Gaitor was part of Cristobal's first recruiting class, which he put together shortly after his arrival at FIU.
Coach Cristobal spoke to our group about how he changed the standards for the team by implementing new rules such as:
- Show up for every class
- 10 hours of study hall a week or coaches will hold study hall on Friday and Saturday nights from 11:00 - 2:00 AM
These changes led to the best academic turnaround in the country. Cristobal sees parallels between the school discipline and the football field. The team is also involved in the community and FIU Football has logged 1000 hours of community service this year alone.
He emphasizes being significant and making sure that players establish good habits.
