at the home of Annie Goodrich,

7125 Sunset Drive

7:00 PM – do NOT arrive early!

Dress Code:  Casual elegance – patriotic, RED WHITE AND BLUE

My fellow South Miami Rotarians,

I know it's not even midway through June, but my year of serving as your President is rapidly coming to an end.  There are a few things I want to make sure you put on your calendar for the next few weeks.

Friday, June 20th - The installation party for our new Officers and Board will be at 7pm at Ann Goodrich's home, 7125 Sunset Drive. This will be a less formal gathering than usual - which means it will be more casual & relaxed. PLEASE RSVP to Donna Gaines so that proper arrangements are made.

Tuesday, June 24th - I'll be out of town, Bill Enright will run our weekly meeting.

Tuesday, July 1 - President Bill will be out of town - I'll run the meeting for him - Jody Perlmutter tentatively expected to have the Bank's Trust Officer present this week's Program.

Monday, July 7th - First meeting of the 2008/09 Board, 6pm, First National Bank of S.M. all members are always welcome to attend Board meetings. The Foundation Board meets immediately thereafter.

Tuesday, July 8th - President Bill will be out of town - I'm covering - District Governor Marcy Ullom will be on her annual Governor's visit to our club. Board members and Committee Chairs should plan to meet with DG Ullom beginning at about 11:30am.

Please put all this on your calendar - and I really hope to see everyone for lunch on Tuesday.

ROY GONAS:

We all know Rotarian Keith Douglass, Past President of the RC of Marathon, and a recent speaker at our club. He has a daughter who was about to complete her academic work at FIU this summer.  Due to a single car accident, she is in critical but stable condition at the UM Trauma Center.  Keith and Diane spend nearly all their time at the Center now.

Warm greetings and prayers are very welcome.

Keith and Diane reside at 133 Willow Lane, Islamorada, FL 33036.  Our members’ expressions of caring will be greatly appreciated.  Go to www.carepages.com to leave a message.

Hello Everyone:

My name is Victor Gospodinoff and I'm the incoming club Secretary for the Rotary Club of Doral.

Marcy Ullom suggested I start a District 6990 Facebook group to make our communications a lot more dynamic.

The group has a very basic set up for now. I will need feedback from all you. So we can include all the district events, links to websites etc...  The link is www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=19433442130
